Colpitts World Travel, a global leader in travel management, announced today that the company has been awarded a workforce training grant from the Commonwealth that will provide up to 50 employees with professional development opportunities. These programs will help Colpitts’ staff develop new skills that will add value to the customer experience and help ensure the best service. The monies come from the Patrick Administration’s Workforce Training Fund Grants.
“This was a long and detailed process to submit our application, which speaks to our commitment to the highest levels of customer care and process improvements,” said Colpitts President and CEO Alan M. Krensky.
This latest round of grants will benefit 66 Massachusetts companies. Since 2007, the Patrick Administration has awarded $84.3 million through this grant program to 1,101 projects involving more than 1,191 businesses and 103,584 workers.
Colpitts plans to use the grant funds to conduct trainings in three main areas: customer service, business development, and management.
